As one of six petitioners behind Denver's Psilocybin Initiative (I-301) I feel socially responsible to do my part in helping shape the equitable, accessible, safe and affordable future of psychedelic therapeutics in Colorado. My intention is to ensure that community and the Spirit of the Medicine is at center of how we move forward with implementing The Natural Medicine Health Act. I have been called to step it up and bring community together and co-create a community-led, Coloradan-centered advocacy group.
Stay tuned for events, announcements and upcoming statewide Zoom meetings in how you can get involved.
Feel free to connect with me on social media, check back here on my website and reach out for the latest updates and tips in how to become civically engaged. Thank you!

Know who your Colorado legislators are in the Senate and House of Representatives.
Here's the recording from a Zoom meeting from March 29th: CO Community-centered Legislative Update on Prop 122 / Natural Medicine Health Act. My intention is to help bridge the gap in understanding the process of how legislation is passed in Colorado. My hope is that people will want to be engaged in the process, if you feel called. You're invited to join us and get involved!
Sharing my video created as part of the 2023 University of Colorado Denver Anthropology Department research study "Psilocybin Use Among BIPOC Community Members in Colorado" (COMIRB #22-1797).
I'm hoping that other BIPOC folks are inspired to also participate in this study and share their stories and perspectives. Here's the link to the study: https://clas.ucdenver.edu/anthropology/cu-denver-psilocybin-study
